Its structure is made of high quality aluminium that facilitates heat dissipation and improves the performance of the luminaire and also has an IP66 protection factor that makes it resistant to weather and adverse conditions. Features of the XITANIUM Programmable 5 Steps Driver An LED driver is responsible for transforming the alternating current from the mains into direct current suitable for making the LED chips shine. The Xitanium Driver is from the prestigious company PHILIPS, one of the most innovative and prestigious brands in the lighting industry, this driver is specially designed for Street Lighting. This range of drivers offers unique reliability and flexibility, providing high performance and optimum efficiency of the LEDs. The entire Xitanium driver range incorporates an IP65 enclosure that protects against moisture, vibration and temperature, ensuring maximum durability. In addition, it includes both over-temperature and over-voltage protection. In the case of this driver, it incorporates 5 steps, i.e. 5 dimming phases. This type of technology is called Fixed Time Based Dimming (FTBD), the 5 dimming phases are assigned a power and a time duration. In this way, when there is practically no traffic or passers-by, the amount of light emitted by the luminaire is reduced, adapting intelligently to the different night-time scenarios and considerably reducing electricity consumption. By default the luminaire driver is programmed in 4 steps: Step 1: First hour → Brightness at 60%. Step 2: Second hour → Brightness at 70%. Step 3: Third hour → Brightness 80% Step 4: Fourth hour → Brightness at 90% Step 5: Fifth hour to 90% brightness  Step 5: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 6: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 7: Fifth hour to shutdown → Brightness at 100% Step 8: Fifth hour to shutdown *Can be programmed on customer’s request * Diameter of fixture: Ø55-67mm.
