Canless wafer LED light kits can be used for remodel or new construction LED recessed ceiling downlight projects. LED retrofit downlights are installed utilizing your existing recessed can housing.

The MaxLite Universal Commercial downlight is an economical, all-in-one solution for adding recessed downlighting to hospitality, retail, office and other commercial lighting applications. The downlight is designed with an integral whip, which connects directly to a junction box (existing or independently mounted), and a universal driver that eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing, saving installers time and money. The downlight combines 5 CCTs and 3 wattages in one product. Easy to install in new construction, remodel and retrofit projects, the downlight has a slim body that fits into shallow ceilings. Its white baffle trim blends seamlessly into interiors and reduces glare for soft, eye-pleasing illumination.

The 6 inch LED MaxLite 110885 (RCF6T10WCSTA) is color selectable and can switch between five different color temperatures, including: 2700K Warm White, 3000K Warm White, 3500K Bright White, 4000K Cool White and 5000K daylight, via the switch is located at the top of the fixture. The recessed light kit operates on the universal voltage of 120-277V and is also wattage/lumen adjustable controlled by another switch on the fixture, able to switch between 10 watts, 18 watts, and 23 watts, ranging between 900-2,300 lumens respectively, and has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90. The 6 inch fixture is dimmable via TRIAC dimming and is suitable for wet locations, making it ideal for either new construction or remodel applications. The downlight is NOT suitable for enclosed cans or for use with pin base or screw base applications.
