Options for LED recessed lighting fixtures, whether installing canless wafer light kits or retrofitting your current can lights, have grown rapidly. Canless wafer LED light kits can be used for remodel or new construction LED recessed ceiling downlight projects. LED retrofit downlights are installed utilizing your existing recessed can housing.

The Satco S11831 (24WLED/DW/EL/8/CCT/SQ/RD) square dimmable 8″ low profile recessed LED Retrofit is equipped with 5 color selectable options, 2700K (Warm White), 3000K (Warm White), 3500K (Bright White), 4000K (Cool White) and 5000K (Daylight). These canless LED downlight kits provide 1650 lumens of brilliant illumination but only requires 24 watts of energy use. The downlight does not require a recessed can and is air-tight for safe use with insulated or non-insulated ceilings. The external driver, or j-box, makes for easy placement and installation, as well as easy install spring clips that are included with each fixture.
