This is a DIY suitable light fixture for those with very little experience and practically no tools. No electrical supply is required as the top is a photovoltaic panel which uses daylight to charge the powerful lithium-ion battery inside. At night, when the PIR sensor detects movement, the light comes on to illuminated paths or front doors.

A heavy-duty, 2.6An, lithium-ion, rechargeable battery powers the array of 18 LED chips. The battery charges during the day and turns on automatically when detecting motion at night.

The downward facing design is perfect for illuminating your main entrance, garage, carport or other areas with a lot of traffic. Easy installation is possible with a plate at the back that is screwed into the wall. It has a maximum 8 metre range and 100 degree detection area.

Unlike old solar lights, this gives 380 lumens, the equivalent of a 35-watt halogen bulb, and emits a warm white, 3000K light.

LED life expectancy is 30,000 hours the battery can be replaced if needed by the end user.
