This rotary dimmer module is designed to sit behind a standard rotary dimmer knob on a wall plate. It offers an easy upgrade for situations where light fittings and bulbs are not dimming as expected, or where an existing dimmer is incompatible with LED lamps. Instead of replacing the entire switch, simply fit this module into your existing wall plate to achieve smooth dimming control with modern or traditional lighting.

Usage
Ideal when upgrading to LED lamps, or if your current dimmer fails to dim lights properly or does not allow lights to turn off fully. Swapping the dimmer module helps avoid the difficulty of matching existing wall plates, especially in older installations or where specific plate finishes are required. Compatible wall plates are widely available from electrical wholesalers if needed.

Key Features
The dimmer module supports both incandescent (tungsten) lamps and LED bulbs. For incandescent lamps, it operates loads from 2 watts up to 400 watts. For LED lamps, it works with loads from 2 watts up to 250 watts. Minimum load adjustment requires no tools or screws—simply follow the built-in sequence:

Once installed and lamps are fitted:
Push ON
Turn anticlockwise to minimum
Turn to maximum
Turn to minimum
Turn to maximum
Repeat seven times until all lights flash three times
Set the desired minimum level, push OFF, then push ON to save the setting

This straightforward sequence ensures reliable operation and helps prevent flickering or incomplete dimming, especially with modern LED lamps.
